Summary: We collect only what's necessary to provide Keptwell. Your memories belong to you. We never sell your data.

Account Information:
- Email address (for login and account recovery)
- Password (encrypted, we cannot see it)
Content You Create:
- Journal entries (text)
- Photos you attach to entries
- Voice recordings you attach to entries
- Recipient information (names, emails, relationships)
Automatically Collected:
- Device type and operating system
- App usage analytics (which features you use)
- Crash reports to help us fix bugs
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain Keptwell's services
- To deliver your memories to your designated recipients
- To send you important updates about your account
- To improve the app based on how people use it
- To respond to your support requests
3. How We Protect Your Data
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
- We use industry-standard security practices
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate Keptwell:
- Supabase - Database and authentication
- RevenueCat - Subscription management
- Apple App Store - Payment processing
- Expo - App delivery and updates
Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
After your memories are delivered to recipients, we retain the delivered content for up to 10 years to ensure recipients can access it.

- Delete your account and data
- Export your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. Children's Privacy
